ROCK, creators of great British motoring Marque

MINI
The Mini was made by the British Motor Corporation (BMC) and its successors from 1959 until 2000. The original is considered a British icon of the 1960s. The original Mini continued in production until 2000. Development of a successor began in 1995 and the new generation car (styled as MINI to differentiate it from its predecessor), was launched in 2001 by BMW. With cartoony curves and outsize dials it seems self-consciously cute, and has proved a great success as an icon of retro cool, particularly in Japan. In the end more than five million Minis were sold, making it the most popular British car ever made.

ROCK design this modern identity to reflect the new styled MINI which would be launched some years later, having had a sneaky peek at the prototype. The opportunity to be involved in the creation of such an iconic brand doesn’t come around very often... it does however, make a very good dinner party anecdote and even after all these years never ceases to impress, which is a great endorsement of the success of the MINI to this day!
